Smart Academy caters for children 12 months - Grade R.
Our school terms are in line with the Department of Education.
The centre is open from 6am – 6pm Monday to Friday.
The centre is open throughout the year and only closes over the December holidays.
Play-Learn-Win curriculum which is based on the National Curriculum framework and uses fun, creative activities where children learn through exploration and discovery.
Grade R is CAPS aligned and provides a solid foundation on which the children can build to reach their full potential.
The Smart Academy team is dedicated to the children in their care and play an integral role in the home away from home environment where the children feel loved and secure.
Educators have minimum NQF level 5 qualification and continual education is encouraged and supported.
The centre is owner managed with a hands on approach. Attention to detail and continuous improvement and maintenance is of utmost importance.
Weekly sports lessons facilitated by PhyzzEd sports is included in our programme and forms a vital component of every child’s development.
All meals and snacks are included in the monthly fees, only the toddlers (12 – 24months) bring in additional snack daily.
Uniform is available but not compulsory except for the Grade R jacket.
Uniform can be purchased throughout the year.
